Does it teach real astronomy?

The planets appear in correct order from Mercury to Neptune with real facts attached, so children absorb the actual layout of the solar system while playing.

What kind of challenges are there?

Maths problems, memory sequences and logic puzzles, one set at each planet, which get harder the further out the rocket travels.

Around 5 to 10. The inner planets are gentle enough for early learners while the outer ones stretch older children.

About Space Adventure Games

Space Adventure Games sends children on a tour of the solar system with a learning challenge waiting at every stop. The route runs Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, with the Sun and Moon along the way, so children pick up the planets in their correct order simply by travelling through them.

Each planet sets maths problems, memory challenges and puzzles that must be solved before the rocket moves on. Progress is rewarded with upgrades — a new Rocket Body, Rocket Fire, a Star Badge, a Space Shield, a Galaxy Skin and an Alien Friend — which gives a child something visible to work towards rather than an abstract score.

How to Play

Launch your rocket from Earth.
Solve the maths and memory challenge at each planet.
Earn upgrades: rocket parts, shields and skins.
Travel outward to Neptune to finish the tour.
