Paddle Billing Compliance
Refund Policy
HappyKidsFun Premium is a monthly subscription for parents and families. This page explains cancellation, refund review timing, accidental child purchases, and how premium access changes if a refund is issued.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to HappyKidsFun Premium purchases processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record.
It covers monthly premium subscription charges, duplicate charges, accidental purchases, and technical access issues related to the premium plan.
2. Subscription cancellations
A parent or legal guardian may cancel the monthly subscription at any time before the next renewal date through the Paddle customer portal or by contacting support.
When canceled, the subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period unless a refund is separately approved.
3. When we may approve a refund
We review refund requests in good faith and may approve them where there was an accidental child purchase, duplicate billing, a technical problem that prevented premium access, or another billing issue that makes a refund reasonable.
Parents should contact us as soon as possible after the charge appears so we can investigate quickly.
4. Refund request window
For the fastest review, please contact support within 14 days of the charge date.
Requests sent later may still be reviewed, but approval is not guaranteed because subscription use, tax rules, payment network rules, and fraud review requirements may affect the result.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the parent or guardian email used at checkout.
Include the purchase email, charge date, amount if known, and a short explanation of the issue. Please do not send full card numbers.
6. What happens after approval
If Paddle or HappyKidsFun approves a refund, the refunded subscription period may be canceled immediately or shortened to match the refunded amount.
Refund timing depends on Paddle, your payment method, and your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks and abuse prevention
If a chargeback is filed with the payment provider or card issuer, premium access may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
We may deny refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, repeated completed usage after renewal, or attempts to keep premium access after a refund has already been issued.
