Block Blast is a falling-block puzzle on a 10x10 board. Shapes drop from the top and your child moves and rotates them to fit together, clearing the line whenever a full row or a full column fills up. Clearing columns as well as rows is what sets it apart from the classic version — there are twice as many ways to score, and children spot the sideways clears surprisingly quickly.
The pace climbs by level as lines are cleared, so the game gets harder because your child is getting better, not because a timer said so. Alongside Classic mode there is a Daily Challenge with a fresh board each day, which gives a reason to return without any of the streak-pressure mechanics that make daily modes stressful.
How to Play
- 1Move the falling shape left or right.
- 2Rotate it so it fits the gap you are aiming for.
- 3Drop it down to lock it into place.
- 4Fill a whole row or column to clear it and score.

Questions Parents Ask
- What is the Daily Challenge?
- A new board generated fresh each day, separate from Classic mode. There is no penalty for missing a day and no streak to protect.
- Can it be played on a phone?
- Yes. Controls work by touch as well as with arrow keys on a desktop keyboard, and the board scales to the screen.
- Is it suitable for younger children?
- The early levels move slowly and are manageable from about age 6. Younger children may prefer Candy Bloom or Kids Puzzle Games, which are untimed.
