About BrainBot Logic Lab

BrainBot Logic Lab teaches the thinking behind coding without a line of code. Children build a sequence of commands — Up, Down, Left, Right, Grab, Drop, Wait and Scan — then run it and watch the robot follow their instructions exactly. When it goes wrong, and it will, the child has to work out which step was at fault.

The levels introduce concepts in a deliberate order. Lunchbox Path and Toy Pickup cover plain sequencing; Pattern Builder and Memory Code add patterns and recall; If Red Then Wait and If Green Then Go introduce conditionals; Repeat Steps and Robot Dance Loop cover loops; Find The Bug is debugging outright. By Sort By Rule and Mega Memory Code children are combining all of it.

How to Play

  1. Read the goal for the level.
  2. Drag command blocks into order: move, grab, drop, wait.
  3. Run the program and watch the robot follow it.
  4. If it fails, find the wrong step and fix it.

Questions Parents Ask

Does my child need to know how to code?
No, and they will not write any code here. Commands are blocks you drag into order. It teaches the reasoning that coding needs, not a programming language.
What age does this suit?
The early sequencing levels work from about age 5. The conditional and loop levels — If Red Then Wait, Robot Dance Loop — suit 7 and above.
What happens when the robot gets it wrong?
Nothing is lost. The robot simply fails the run and your child can edit the sequence and try again as many times as they like. Find The Bug makes debugging the actual goal.
